Anneke Bakker
 

Anneke is an Account Manager Consumer Electronics at Google The Netherlands. She has a passion for education and started her own project working with schools (primary & secondary) across The Netherlands. She is very excited about the online opportunities for education and can’t imagine a world without working in the Cloud.



Derek Harwell
 
Derek Harwell teaches IBMYP Computer Tech at the International School of Amsterdam and for the past two decades has facilitated various roles at ISA. Derek's teaching career began when he made the decision to drop out of high school and start learning. Since then he has approached his teaching and learning from a different point of view. He went on to earn several university degrees prior to becoming a teacher. 

Derek began using GAFE while president of ELMLE (affiliate of AMLE and ISTE in Europe) to better serve the online service for members as well as plan, register and present the yearly conference. In the past several years, he has implemented and assisted others in harnessing the power of many Google products in meeting classrooms and professional development needs. 

John Mikton
Director of Information Technology at the International School of Prague. An Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer,Chair of the ECIS ICT Committee, Principal Training Center Course Facilitator, Teacher Training Center Course Facilitator and Instructor at Endicott College, Leadership for Technology in Schools, Masters Course.

John has worked at International Schools in Tanzania, China, Japan and now the Czech Republic as a Elementary School Teacher, Information Technology Specialist, Information Technology Coordinator, Director of Information Technology and School Administrator.

Previous to this he worked in Media Sales: Boston, Massachusetts. USA (Warner Communications), and San Francisco, California. USA (The Bay Guardian).

Sarah Woods
Sarah Woods is a core member of the Google in Education Community,leading Google sessions across Europe and Asia since 2012.

She is the IT Director and a Secondary IT Integration Coach at Pechersk School International in Ukraine. She holds a Graduate Certification and MS Ed in K-12 Technology Integration. She is a Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer and has worked extensively with Google Apps for Education in her current school where they use Google for resource management, calendaring, collaboration, curation and much more! She has worked in international schools for 7 years. 

Sarah has a unique presentation style as her sessions reflect her passion for student-directed learning. Expect to get your laptop out and try new things - her hero is Miss Frizzle, "Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!"



Allison Mollica
 
Allison Mollica, AM Technology Edu, is a Google Apps for Edu Certified trainer and an educational technology leader, facilitator & enthusiast! Allison has worked in educational technology for over 15 years and has a Master's in Technology in Education and Advanced Certificate in Online Instruction through Lesley University. 






Rowland Baker
Rowland Baker has been an educator for over thirty years in both public and private schools.  He served as a teacher for fourteen years, a principal in two different schools, a director of technology and an assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction in a county of about 45,000 students.  He has also directed several statewide projects for the California Department of Education.  

He has worked closely over the years with Institutes of Higher Education, the Association of California School Administrators, California School Leadership Academy, the California Technology Assistance Project and the International Society of Technology in Education (ISTE). 

Rowland serves on several state and national committees focused on technology and education. He was one of forty educators brought together from across the United States to help ISTE write the National Educational Technology Standards for Administrators. Mr. Baker presented at the ICL Confernece in Austria, Octotber 2012, the Google Apps for Education Summit in Prague, Czech Republic.  Rowland was also part of the EDusummIT in The Hague, Netherlands in 2009, and again in Paris France in 2011. He was invited to attend the UNESCO Congress on Open Educational Resources in Paris France in 2012. He was one of five educators invited to speak at the Dubai Global EdTech Forum.  He is a sought after presenter that has presented at over a hundred conferences, both nationally and internationally.

He has received numerous award including, Teacher of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Distinguished Service Award from Phi Delta Kappa, and the Prestigious Montague Award for Outstanding Achievement from Association of California School Administrators, and ISTE's Making IT Happen Award.

Rowland is currently Executive Director of the Technology Information Center for Administrative Leadership (TICAL), funded through the California Department of Education.

Warren Apel
Warren Apel is the Director of Educational Technology at the International School of Amsterdam. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher, and National Board Certified Teacher. He is frequent presenter at international technology conferences. Warren is a member of the ECIS ICT Commitee.




Sean Thomas Moroney
Sean Thomas Moroney Leader for Digital Learning, The Vienna International School. Sean has worked as an educator for twenty years on four different continents. Much of this time has been in the role of an educational technologist committed to school start-up and new program foundation and development. Working in consultancy and with accreditation agencies he's helped learning organisations find solutions to technology challenges. A long-time adherent and advocate of open source technologies he is a member of the Software Freedom Foundation, The Free and Open Source Software Alliance, and the Electronic Freedom Foundation. He is a regular BarCamper and founding member of EduCamp Singapore. A pioneer and exponent of innovative systems, he has been working with GAFE integration since 2007. He is a regular presenter at edu-conferences both virtual and actual, and after a hiatus dedicated to new fatherhood, he's happy to be back on the circuit.
